Simon Paul has finished recording a new demo for Melbourne based Singer/Songwriter, Rhiannon Bahree. The recording featured Miles de Carteret (Guitar), Ryan Hegarty (Bass), Clio Renner (Keys) and Luke Millar (Drums). The featured track is an original titled ‘Holding On‘.

On the pleasant and surprisingly warm winter evening that was Tuesday 18th August, Simon Paul made his first public appearance with his new band at the Fresh Music Industry Showcase.

The showcase is competition held over several weeks. Simon Paul and band made it through the first heat, with support from adjudicators and an appreciative audience.

The band features Chris Green (guitar/vocals), Dean Gourley (piano/vocals), Luke Millar (drums) & Kris Lajoie (bass).
